Mark Simons has been professionally engaged as a teacher for over three decades. He currently offers individual and group lessons in all styles as well as academic classes. Beginning to advanced training is available in guitar, ukulele, music history (jazz, classical, and American popular music.), music theory, composition, improvisation, and audition and competition preparation.

Classroom and individual instruction is available in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area. High quality synchronous and asynchronous online training and classes are offered via various platforms and media including Zoom, Skype, Canvas and FaceTime worldwide.

Mark is currently a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Diablo Valley College, Laney College, and the San Domenico School.
